Location

The University of Chicago Center in Paris is located on the newly created Rue Thomas Mann in the 13th arrondissement. In the middle of a new university and research complex (pôle universitaire), this location is ideally suited to the University's rich intellectual tradition. It is situated two blocks from France's National Library (Bibliothèque Nationale de France), and just steps away from some of France's premier universities and institutions of higher learning (Université de Paris VIII —- Denis Diderot, the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales, etc.). The Center in Paris is also less than a block from the Seine, and three blocks away from the nearest Metro station. Click here for directions.
